Grow Our Peer Support Network
For many parents struggling with their mental health, isolation is one of the hardest things to experience. With the severe lack of services for parents in the perinatal period, many parents will struggle on without any support, preventing their recovery and leaving them feeling alone.
We Are Pangs are actively training parents who have recovered from mental illness to host peer support groups. These groups will provide a vital connection for parents and a safe space to share their experiences, get help and support and meet with others who are going through the same thing.
We can’t train our peer support leaders without your help. Our goal of raising £5000 will allow us to train 24 pee
r support leaders who can then run groups in local communities throughout Northern Ireland, reaching those parents who may have nowhere else to turn.
Any donation you can give will be gratefully received and go towards helping parents in your community.
Thank you for your support.
